Align your spine in neutral, engage your abs, shoulders down and plie until your legs shake…yep and repeat that and more for 50 minutes. Standing work at the ballet barre with plies, releves, port de bras (graceful arm movements) and other ballet steps that will bring you back to your childhood, arm toning with light weights, bands or Magic Circles (you will have to come find out what makes them Magical) and Pilates-based abdominal mat work with more glute/hip/thigh thrown in if you still haven’t had enough at the barre–well that’s why you’re here, aren’t you? This fun, fast-paced class will help your posture, balance, and stamina besides toning your entire body like nothing else. Tutus are optional, but you definitely need sticky-bottomed socks.
